Chicago Refugee Coalition

The Chicago Refugee Coalition is dedicated to developing innovative and responsive solutions that prioritize the dignity of refugees from all over the world. They have developed a comprehensive and multi-faceted approach that takes into account the individual circumstances of each refugee family they serve. As a national partner of Bombas, a social enterprise clothing company, they have donated and distributed over 10,000 new pairs of socks each year. Additionally, they conduct an annual coat drive campaign known as "Cookies & Coats" which collects new and gently used coats to provide warmth to Chicagoland refugee/migrant students.

Casa Guadalupe Center

Through a combination of education and social services, Wisconsin based Casa Guadalupe Education Center works to empower low-income, native-born and Spanish-speaking Latino families to live independent, successful lives, to build strong families and establish meaningful connections within their community.

Centro Romero

The mission of Centro Romero is to provide opportunities for those community residents with the fewest options. The agency realizes its mission with programs that provide essential supportive services for the healthy personal and social development of participants and their families.

Border Kindness

Border Kindness provides migrants, refugees, and the displaced with comprehensive services that include food, shelter, clothing and medical care. Our programs and interventions are designed to identify, protect and nurture the most vulnerable – including women, children, elderly and families. Border Kindness believes everyone should have the opportunity to live free of pain, hunger, intimidation and fear. We believe everyone is our neighbor.

The Southwest Collective

We provide an open forum for southwest side residents to voice their concerns; hear new perspectives from their neighbors; learn about existing public resources; and launch economic, educational, and recreational initiatives that bring our siloed communities together.
